The ESHTE team held a recent National Advisory Committee Meeting on the 9th August 2018. The meeting with our Irish stakeholders and associate partners was very productive and will help advance the next stages of the ESHTE project outputs - #ItStopsNow campaign, staff training modules and tool-kit.
The Committee consists of a variety of third level institutes, student unions, NGO's, statutory and non-statutory bodies from across Ireland including Cosc (Department of Justice) and the Gardai. We are delighted to have the support of frontline service providers like the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre and Cork Centre for Sexual Violence. The National Advisory Committee offers a unique opportunity to gather interested stakeholders and higher education institutes around the table to tackle the issue of sexual violence and harassment in third level education as a collective body, in a collborative way for the first time.
Thank you to our NAC members for your ongoing support and input.
